I was so excited to offer a photoshoot to Laura and Orla a few weeks before Christmas, at their home in South Buckinghamshire. This was actually the first time I'd shot a maternity session; Laura was expecting baby number 2 with husband Ross in early January and I was honoured to be able to capture images of the beautiful Laura at this special stage in her life. These images are not only something for her and Ross to look back on, to have a visual reminder of that gorgeous baby bump now the little one's here, they are also something special for baby number 2 to inherit. Being able to see your mother carrying you, caressing you and loving you unconditionally, even though she's never met you, will be truly awesome for baby Erin when she's grown up.

We also got some lovely shots of little Orla, who wasn't yet 2 when she had her photoshoot! Although she seemed more interested in her food than my camera (who can blame her!?) we got some beautiful images for her, mum and dad to treasure forever.

We actually had to postpone Laura's viewing session for a few weeks as baby decided to make a bit of an early appearance! But, Erin arrived just before Christmas and is already 4 months old; Orla is loving being a big sister!

I can't wait to take their next family photos, when Erin is sitting!
